This bike of grandfather’s era still rules the hearts of people and people are still eagerly waiting to buy it. Let’s know about this bike!

Classic Design with Modern Features

The Yamaha RX100 New Model 2025 continues to feature the quintessentially retro design language of the original motorcycle, including a teardrop fuel tank, circular halogen headlamp, and flat single-piece seat. But it now gets contemporary elements like LED tail lamps, semi-digital instrument console and new alloy wheels (available as an option on top versions).

Yamaha Rx100 New Model

“I am very excited to see the back in town, massively excited to learn that the motorcycle is set to seize the pure and emotion of the legendary RX 100, but it will be built to globally comply with modern performance and safety norms,” Yamaha Motor Co. spep says that the all-new RX100 will retain the charm of the original, while being designed from ground up. The combination of metallic and carbon fibre of the design is the perfect blend of old-school and modernful styling at its automatic best.

Refined Engine and BS6 Compliance

The New Rx 100 will not have the old 2stroke engine because of emission regulations. However, it is expected to get a 155cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke motor that is currently employed by the R15 and the MT-15 but in a different state of tune to retain the RX100’s iconic punch. This would be a 14-17 PS power producing motor which should be good enough for a peppy and fast city ride.

The motorbike will be BS6 Phase 2 compliant and will also be equipped with fuel injection for greater efficiency and smoother throttle response.

Comfort and Ride Quality

Yamaha will also see to it that the new RX100 gets lightweight chassis, comfortable upright riding style and suspension. The bike is engineered to take on daily commutes and occasional long rides with equal ease and comes with telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers.

Kerb weight of the RX100 is likely to be sub 130 kg, ensuring the bike remains nimble and flickable, just the way it should be for a bike from that generation.

Expected Launch and Price

The Yamaha RX100 2025 is likely to be introduced in early 2025, for an ex-showroom price tag of approximately ₹1.25 to ₹1.45 lakh. It will rival the likes of TVS Ronin, Bajaj Pulsar 150 and Honda Unicorn
